Για το σκοπό αυτό, ένα θρεπτικό υπόστρωμα (Luria – Bertani broth, LB) και τα εκχυλίσματα δύο φυτικών ιστών (μαρούλι, ρόκα) εμβολιάστηκαν με το στέλεχος Staphylococcus aureus (strain COL, MRSA) και τα δείγματα επωάστηκαν σε τρεις διαφορετικές θερμοκρασίες (15, 20 και 30°C). Από τα αποτελέσματα κατά την επώαση στους 15°C, φάνηκε να καθυστερεί η ανάπτυξη του στελέχους σε εκχύλισμα ρόκας σε σχέση με το θρεπτικό υπόστρωμα LB. In the present study, the growth of Staphylococcus aureus on different growth media was studied. For this purpose, a growth medium (Luria – Bertani broth, LB) and two extracts from plants (lettuce and rocket), were inoculated with Staphylococcus aureus strain COL (MRSA).
